René Böll

René Böll was born in 1948 in Cologne, Germany. He began drawing and painting seriously in his teens, and began formal study with Bernhard Müler-Feyen in 1966. In 1967 he started his study of lithography in Cologne and Vienna. His first studies using Chinese and Japanese inks were completed in 1972. From 1975 to 1988 he directed the Lamuv Publishing House and was the editor of the six-volume Collected Letters of Vincent Van Gogh (1985). He has had solo and group exhibitions throughout Europe, as well as in China and Ecuador.

René Böll nació en 1948 en Colonia, Alemania. Comenzó a dibujar y a pintar en serio en su adolescencia, y comenzó sus estudios formales con Bernhard Müler-Feyen, en 1966. En 1967 comenzó sus estudios de litografía en Colonia y Viena. Terminó sus primeros estudios con el uso de tintas chinas y japonesas en 1972.
