Benno Barnard

Benno Barnard (Ámsterdam, 1954) escribe poesía, ensayos, y novelas ensayísticas. Comenzó su carrera literaria en los años 80, y ha editado tres colecciones: Een engel van Rossetti, Klein Rozendaa, y Het meer in mij. Benno Barnard (Amsterdam, 1954) writes poetry, essays and essayistic novels. He began his literary career back in the 1980s when he had three collections of poetry published: Een engel van Rossetti, Klein Rozendaal, and Het meer in mij. It has been said that these collections manifest a cerebral romantic who travels between dream and reality, the past and the present, here and yonder, nature and culture. Several years and two novels later, Barnard writes a different kind of poem. The poems published here are examples of this.
