Gabriel Rosenstock

Gabriel Rosenstock nació en el condado de Kilfinana, Limerick, Irlanda en 1949. Escribe fundamentalmente en irlandés y es el autor y traductor de más de cien obras, entre ellas, Rogha Rosenstock (Connemara, Cló Iar-Chonnacta, 1994), una selección tomada de diez volúmenes de poesía: Susanne sa Seomra Folctha; OM; Nihil Obstat; Rún na gCaisleán; Portrait of the Artist as an Abominable Snowman; Oráistí; Ní Miain Léi y Fhilíocht Níos Mó. Rosenstock es miembro de Aosdána, la academia irlandesa de artes y letras, y también forma parte de numerosas sociedades y organizaciones literarias. Su obra ha sido traducida y publicada en diversas lenguas. En la actualidad Gabriel Rosenstock vive en Dublín.

 

Gabriel Rosenstock was born in Kilfinane County , Limerick , Ireland in 1949. He writes primarily in Irish and is the author and translator of over one hundred books, among them, Rogha Rosenstock (Connemara, Cló Iar-Chonnacta, 1994), a selection from ten volumes of poetry: Susanne sa Seomra Folctha; OM; Nihil Obstat; Rún na gCaisleán; Portrait of the Artist as an Abominable Snowman; Oráistí; Ní Miain Léi and Fhilíocht Níos Mó. He is a member of Aosdána, the Irish Academy of Arts and Letters, as well as a member of many literary societies and organizations. His work has been widely published outside of Ireland and translated into many languages. At present Gabriel Rosenstock lives in Dublin.
