Macdara Woods

Macdara Woods nació en Dublín en 1942. Publicó catorce libros, entre los más recientes figuran Knowledge In The Blood: New and Selected Poems (2000), y The Nightingale Water (2001). También ha grabado varios CDs en colaboración, entre los más recientes figuran In The Ranelagh Gardens , con el compositor Benjamín Dwyer, en Marzo de 2005. Woods fue uno de los editores fundadores de la revista literaria Cyphers y en la actualidad es miembro de Aosdána.

 

Macdara Woods was born in Dublin in 1942. He published fourteen books, among the most recent, Knowledge In The Blood: New and Selected Poems (2000), and The Nightingale Water (2001). He has also recorded several CDs in collaboration, among the most recent, The Ranelagh Gardens , with composer Benjamin Dwyer, in March 2005. Woods was one of the founding editors of the literary magazine Cyphers , and at present he is a member of Aosdána.
