Aizawa Keizō

Aizawa Keizō es autor de doce antologías poéticas, incluyendo la colección Mangō gensō, ganadora del prestigioso premio Takami Jun en 2005, Gogatsu no Sasagamine y Kujakusō no dekigoto . Durante los años 50 y 60, Aizawa Keizō estableció para sí una reputación por ser uno de los autores de posguerra que utilizó particularmente un lenguaje directo para describir el deseo homo erótico. Aizawa Keizō is the author of twelve anthologies of poetry, including the collections Mangō gensō , which won the prestigious Takami Jun Prize for poetry in 2005, Gogatsu no Sasagamine and Kujakusō no dekigoto . During the 1950s and 1960s, he made a name for himself as one of a new generation of postwar Japanese authors that used particularly bold language to describe homoerotic desire.  Mr. Aizawa writes free verse, as in the poems represented in this issue of Sirena , but he also writes tanka, a short but ancient form of Japanese poetry that usually has a metrical pattern of 5-7-5-7-7 syllables. In recent years, he has also written eight books on opera and music appreciation.
